Regaining access to computers away from authentication server
The Problem:
Several computers with specialty software needed for a mission got locked out due to inactivity. The computers did not have the most recent updates and were thus dropped from the network, preventing login either locally or with central authentication. While the computers could be reimaged, this would remove the needed specialty software. While internet was not required for the mission, all authentication went through the network.
